Assistant District Attorney Prosecutorial District 7, Hancock and Washington Counties The Assistant District Attorney will primarily be responsible for criminal prosecutions in the Unified Criminal Court in Hancock County as well as appellate cases before the Law Court. ADAs may occasionally handle conflict cases in Washington County offices. Responsibilities Criminal prosecutions in the Unified Criminal Court. Appellate cases before the Law Court. Occasional conflict case handling in Washington County. Qualifications Strong desire for a career in litigation. Trial experience and trial skills is a plus. High ethical standards, sound judgment, discretion. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational and time‑management skills. Member of the Maine Bar in good standing.
