Taymar Sales specializes in ticket sales and sponsorship services for colleges and sports teams. Taymar Sales U is seeking top talent from RMU's Sport Management program, to experience a hands on internship opportunity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with quick learning potential. Candidates should possess a desire to learn a growing industry with a company that is on the ground floor of changing how college athletics drives revenue and increases fan attendance. This position at Robert Morris University will offer the opportunity to learn and expand knowledge of the fundamentals learned in the classroom and apply them in the real world. The successful applicant will play an integral role in the RMU ticket sales department and corporate sponsorship process (prospecting, fulfillment, activation) and will be involved in all aspects of the day to day operations of the department. Also, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply with preferential status to full time roles with Taymar Sales U upon graduation based on performance and position availability. Responsibilities include:
-Working toward a degree in the RMU Sport Management Department -Desire to work in revenue generating business development position -Comfort with business development activities and ability to build relationships quickly -Excellent writing and communication skills -Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint required. Additional knowledge of Photoshop and/or InDesign preferred -Strong work ethic -Candidates must have local housing during entire internship
