Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting and negotiation through execution, performance monitoring, and closeout/renewal.
  • Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including but not limited to:
    • Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
    • Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
    • Software licensing agreements
    • Cloud service agreements
    • Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
    • Vendor agreements
    • Partnership agreements
  • Compliance: Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay up-to-date on changes in contract law and industry best practices.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential contractual risks. Develop and implement strategies to minimize risk exposure.
  • Contract Administration: Maintain accurate and organized contract records, including electronic and physical files. Track contract milestones, obligations, and deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, finance, operations, and legal teams, to ensure contract terms are aligned with business objectives.
  • Vendor Management: May be involved in vendor selection and negotiation of vendor contracts.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve contract management processes and procedures.
  • Training: Provide training to internal teams on contract-related matters.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on contract status, key metrics, and potential risks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [Number] years of experience in contract management, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and commercial principles.
  • Experience with negotiating and drafting a variety of IT-related contracts.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or similar certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
