Salary: $122,100 - 162,800 per year Requirements:
- We require a degree or equivalent experience, along with typically 10+ years of relevant architecture or engineering experience; fewer years may be accepted with a relevant masters or doctorate.
- We expect deep enterprise architecture expertise, including TOGAF concepts and ADM, governance, decision frameworks, and target-state roadmapping.
- We need strong architecture visualization skills using the C4 model to communicate structure and trade-offs to executive, product, and engineering audiences.
- We look for fluency in well-architected principles across security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and operations, with the ability to embed KPIs and OKRs.
- We require alignment with IT service management practices such as ITIL 4 SVS to support governance and operational excellence.
- We value secure-by-design leadership, including practical application of OWASP Top 10 mitigations.
- We expect multi-cloud expertise across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to support modernization and multi-account strategies.
- We need experience in integration and data architecture, including APIs, event-driven patterns, data platforms, and identity or zero-trust approaches.
- We look for excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to present options, risks, and trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- We expect familiarity with operating at scale, including governance for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, backup and disaster recovery, and high availability patterns.
- We want proven leadership in enterprise standards, governance ownership, exception management, and architecture quality reviews.
- We require demonstrated experience leading system-wide initiatives in regulated or complex environments from strategy through implementation and optimization.
- We expect success in aligning product, engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver measurable outcomes across multiple domains.
Responsibilities: - We set architecture strategy and roadmaps, including environmental analysis, value cases, innovation recommendations, and cross-domain alignment.
- We prioritize short-term architectural needs by consolidating demands, establishing priorities, and defining improvement actions.
- We design end-to-end solutions by turning concepts into logical architectures, setting documentation standards, and approving high-impact designs.
- We direct implementation efforts, coordinate architectural changes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compatibility with existing platforms and strategic requirements.
- We lead governance by defining and enforcing principles, standards, and guidelines, while managing exceptions and quality reviews.
- We institutionalize well-architected practices by tying KPIs and OKRs to security, reliability, performance, cost, and operational outcomes.
- We drive innovation and continuous improvement through research on emerging technologies, gap identification, and post-implementation optimization.
- We influence and coach teams by promoting modern practices such as DevOps and cloud adoption, while mentoring architects and supporting roadmap communication.
- We guide enterprise integration decisions to ensure alignment with target-state architecture and portfolio plans.
- We oversee M&A architecture by leading due diligence, planning, integration, and stakeholder alignment to the technology vision.
