Order PickerOrder Picker Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. First Shift Temp-to-Hire Position Summary The Order Picker will be responsible for verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing shipments, and performing a variety of inventory-related tasks. This position will support production by ensuring accurate inventory transactions, work order processing, and material movement.ResponsibilitiesVerify and record incoming and outgoing shipments.Prepare materials and shipments for production and customers.Kit work orders for production and release work orders for execution.Return materials to inventory when jobs are completed by reconciling work orders.Assist with cycle counting and physical inventory counts.Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.Complete inventory transactions and adjustments as needed.Identify inventory discrepancies and assist with resolving issues.Support shipping, receiving, and inventory processes to maintain efficient operations.Support Manufacturing by maintaining accurate inventory transactions and adjustments.Identify and communicate shipping department constraints or process slowdowns to the supervisor.Help improve department organization, cross-training, cycle counting, and overall efficiency.Collaborate with other departments to ensure priorities and on-time delivery (OTD) goals are met.Support effective customer communication by ensuring accurate and timely inventory and shipment information.Qualifications2+ year s of shipping, receiving, and inventory experience required.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
